Trolling in depths close to the thermo cline is also proving a good attack plan for some larger lacers.

The “Mac Attack” lake trout and Whitefish tournament is August 2^nd and 3^rd headquartered out of Del’s Bar in Somers. The Whitefish Jig fest will be the 22nd, 23 rd, 24^th, of August. 

Perch which have been slow starting because of unusually cool water in shallow areas have begun to kick in with nice catches coming from the west side of Polson Bay and from the Dayton, Cromwell areas.  10 to 16 feet have been good depths.
