Put the steelhead gear away and gear up for spring kings! The Sol Duc is showing signs of spring salmon making their way up to the state salmon hatchery. This year's forecast from the state for the Sol Duc River is good but the Hoh river is still undecided if it's going to open this year.
  Dave Lowe of the Washington State Game Department is in meetings to determine if it's going to happen. He said by next week their ruling will be posted.
