Master Angler

I am a Master Angler

This paper here says so

And you can bet your bottom dollar

I let my fishing buddies know

For they say I’m too old

Or else I am to slow

And I probably can’t keep up

In the places they would go

And although they caught their limit

And I caught only one

I’m the Master Angler

And thus begin the fun

Of course I have to tell them

Go ahead and fish from dawn to setting sun

For once you are a Master Angler

You only need to catch one

And when they say they will get even

With me comes hunting season

I reply I’ll only go along

To hunt serious there is now reason

For once you master one sport

Why try to master another one

From now on what ever I do

Will only be for fun
