A fourth-generation Montanan, Andre is a former Major in the United States Army. She has also held management positions in marketing with MCI and “The Sacramento Bee,” Sacramento, California’s daily newspaper. She left California to pursue writing and teaching career in Montana and has published feature articles with “The Missoulian.” She taught high school social studies and Thompson Falls, Montana prior to leaving to teach in Pelican, Alaska. While pregnant with her first child she was the public relations officer for the Aleutians East Borough School District, and published “Ebb & Flow” their quarterly magazine. She has now made Central Montana home where she has her own copywriting business, www.goldeneaglewriting.com, and she also pursues freelance writing opportunities. With a diverse group of clients she’s published in “Endovascular Today” as well as regional newspapers.  She has two beautiful children, Aleutia 5, and Elias 4, as well as her constant companion, “Big Sky Bella” 10.
